Tweed and I squeezed out one more trail ride yesterday, and though he needed more gentle support since we were alone, he was a rockstar.
The thing about asking them to go through puddles is that there is usually dry ground around them, and most horses, until they become Puddle Masters, prefer to take the safe and easy way.
But an ask is an ask, and their answer kind of tells us who is leading the ride.
Ladies and gentlemen, may I present for your viewing pleasure a little kind of big dunskin horsey named Tumbleweed that has achieved the level of Puddle Master. π

Wow, achieving Puddle Master is huge! Tumbleweed did it with ease for you on a solo ride, and while you were using a phone. Great way to pause your trail riding season. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteπ Now, to achieve Bareback Master!
DeleteOne of the things I love about horse blogs is that we can share these wins with people who understand. Congratulations! Way to go Team Tweed.
ReplyDeleteVery true, Teresa. That’s why I like them, too. There’s pretty few people in the world who would care your horse goes through puddles! π Can you imagine the sales ad: loads, hauls, stands tied, and goes through puddles. That will be $50,000 please. π Just kidding. I would never sell my Puddle Master.
DeleteYesss, atta boy! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteπ Tweed would like to thank his fans and everyone who has been there for him and given him the opportunity. π
DeleteYay Tweed- and Linda! Mission accomplished! Onward and upward!
ReplyDeleteThank you, we are having fun and getting it done.
