Mud Bath

This is the way our Mustang takes a bath:

1. Spray her down and lather her with soap.

2. Rinse with water

3. Roll in the mud

4. Respray her with water

5. Lock her in her stall and let her long for the mud

What's that saying--you can take the girl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the girl? Well, this is the same saying for mustangs:

You can take the mustang out of the wild, but you can't take the wild out of the mustang.

  1. Hahahahahahahaha! My mustangs do the same thing! Our palomino looked GORGEOUS after her bath. HA! Not for long! I was walking her like 10 yards down to the arena. Nope! She couldn't WAIT to roll in the dirt! She just dropped down and rolled before I even got her there! DIRTY, DIRTY, DIRTY girl!

  2. I almost never bathe my horses, I just hose them off sometimes. But that does look like fun. Other than the rolling part...

What a good girl to let you give her a bath! You've come a long way in a short amount of time. Good work!
